Ira May, born in Switzerland in 1987 and raised near Basel, developed a passion for music, particularly soul, at an early age. She began playing the piano at the age of seven and later started taking singing lessons. After several years in various music projects, she released her debut solo album "The Spell" in 2014, which entered the Swiss album charts at number one. In 2016, her second album, "Eye of the Beholder," charted at number seven, leading to numerous performances alongside artists such as Alicia Keys and Jamie Cullum.
